BIOCONE members met Mr Lalrinmawia, minister of state i/c Environment and Forest department regarding sighting of serow carcasses and informed him that by examining the samples from carcasses, BIOCONE members from Central Agriculture University, Selesih found out that the cause of the death was Goat pox.
On 9th October 2015, the Governor of Mizoram constituted ‘Consultative Committee on mass death of serow in Mizoram’. Among the committee members included is BIOCONE President.
